Privacy

• Your postcode and address (used to model your roof; not shared)
• Your assessment answers (about your home, electricity use, motivations)
• Your email address — only if you provide it (for Solar Shadow updates or feedback)
• Aerial imagery of your home (Google's satellite layer, cached for 6 months to save on API costs)
• Technical data (browser, device — standard web analytics)

• To produce your personalised solar and battery assessment
• To power the Solar Shadow weekly simulation (if you opt in)
• To email your assessment to you (if you ask)
• To improve the tool based on aggregate patterns
• To notify you about new features (only if you opt in)

• We never sell your personal data
• We never pass your details to installers without your explicit consent
• We never use your data for advertising
• We never contact you unless you've asked us to

We may use anonymised, aggregated data to publish patterns (e.g. "62% of detached homes assessed in Bristol are strong fits for solar"). No individual is ever identifiable in these.

• Supabase, hosted in the EU
• Anthropic Claude API processes your data when generating narratives and answering coach questions. Anthropic does not retain it.

• You can request a copy of all data we hold about you
• You can request deletion of all your data
• You can withdraw any consent at any time
