Privacy

• The first half of your postcode (e.g. BS1) – enough to place you in a pricing region. We never ask for your full postcode or address.
• Your quiz answers – roof, outdoor space, energy use, tenure. Facts about a home, not about a person.
• Your email address – only if you choose to give it, to receive your results and short notes when prices change enough to alter them.
• Anonymous usage statistics via Google Analytics – which pages are visited, on what sort of device. Not who you are.

• To work out your result – the sums run on the answers you give and nothing else.
• To email your result to you, if you asked us to.
• To email you when the numbers behind your result change – price cap moves, kit prices – so your answer stays current. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To improve the tool from aggregate patterns – which questions people abandon, which routes come up most.

• We never sell your data. To anyone. That's the business model, such as it is.
• We never pass your details to installers, suppliers, or anyone selling anything.
• We never use your data for advertising.
• We never contact you unless you gave us your email and a reason to.

The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. Google sets analytics cookies for this – standard measurement, no advertising cookies, no remarketing. If you'd rather not be counted, most browsers let you block analytics cookies, and Google publishes an opt-out browser add-on. Everything else on the site works without any of it.

• Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted in the EU (Frankfurt).
• Resend handles email delivery.
• Google Analytics processes the anonymous usage statistics.

• Ask for a copy of everything we hold about you.
• Ask for all of it to be deleted.
• Withdraw any consent, any time.
